Perimeter of Silence

A vast curve of raw concrete closes the frame like a wall built to keep the world at a distance. The surface is scarred with thin vertical lines, traces of rain and time running down its skin. A single dark vent and a small "no entry" sign punctuate the mass, two quiet warnings on the edge of an unseen interior. Stripped of people and context, the structure shifts between parking garage, fortress and abstract sculpture. A calm, mute perimeter that suggests something is being protected, or quietly contained, just beyond our sight.
