Mutual Apparitions

Two pale goats step out of the hillside fog like figures from a half-remembered dream. They stand perfectly still, staring straight back at us — calm, curious, quietly unsettling. In this thick white silence it is no longer clear who is observing whom: for a brief moment we are only passing ghosts to each other, strangers sharing the same mist before disappearing again. A restrained, surreal image that holds the viewer in a slow, uneasy calm.
